Hello fellow crafters!
Today I experimented with Chevrons for the first time.
I picked up the Chevron Stamp Set from the ever popular Lawn Fawn.
My sentiment, butterfly, and notebook edge is from Verve Stamps.
Julie is having an amazing sale...you can check it out here.
My colors for my card were inspired by the challenge over at
I started with stamping the Chevrons and fussy cutting them out.
Then, like I said...the experimenting began! (grin)
For some funky fun I added some tiny colored
button brads from my stash. I also added a zig zag stitch to highlight my sentiment and popped on a sweet butterfly.
The stamp on the left edge is from the Verve Blue Skies set.
I only inked up the very edge of the notebook and
then fussy cut it and pieced together.
Supplies
Not Shown: Button Brads from Stash; SU - Lovely Lilac Stamp Pad (retired); Purple scrap of card-stock from Stash
Hugs,
Jenny
